Volunteers

Sankara Healthcare Foundation relies solely on volunteers to help deliver our mission on the ground and bring health and wellness around us. We believe that our volunteers have the power to change lives – whether is is providing access to fresh, nutritious, plant-based meals to those in need, helping save our environment, working with children on the Autism spectrum or making critical health care affordable to the needy.

Our volunteers range from pre-school children who participate with their parents and families to teens, young adults and seniors. There is something for everyone to give back to our communities and to the world around us.

Our volunteers tell us that they feel a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives through these opportunities to serve. Many have made new friends, learned new skills and pushed themselves out of their comfort zones in positive ways. For others, our work has taken them to a side of the world’s problems they never knew existed.

We are happy to share that all student volunteers who received recommendation letters from us were admitted to their schools of choice.

We are grateful to our volunteers for joining us on this mission and for allowing us to be part of their joy and pride in giving the gift of health to those in need, one person at a time.

  • Period kits
  • Winter and summer kits

We welcome donations of these kits so that we can provide them to people in need.
